Candidates must possess the following experience and qualities ideally:

  • Passion for technology systems and networking, with a constant desire for continued education and certifications
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot PC, mobility, and/or network issues
  • Experience setting up via Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 accounts for users
  • Attaching PCs to a company’s Active Directory domain
  • Email Spam Filtering (Block, whitelist, etc. – Barracuda)
  • Experience patching PCs and Servers, via RMM, Group Policy and/or Manually
  • Experience managing Open DNS Umbrella and DUO 2FA, or equivalent
  • Printer troubleshooting (drivers)
  • Personal ability to prioritize, maintain focus and finish tasks with efficiency
  • Setting up network permission (permission for Network shares)
  • Exceptional customer service skills with willingness to communicate responsively and with clarity to customers, coworkers and vendor/partners
  • Valid Driver’s license+

Pluses:

  • A+, Server+ and/or Network + Certifications
  • Experience utilizing RMM for MSP, working with ConnectWise and Labtech (ConnectWise Automate), or equivalent
  • Restarting Virtual Servers using VMware and Hyper-V
  • Phone Systems (ShoreTel/Mitel), creating users, installing software
  • QuickBooks: IT support would prove helpful
  • Associates Degree preferred, but not required
