Candidates must possess the following experience and qualities ideally:
- Passion for technology systems and networking, with a constant desire for continued education and certifications
- Proven ability to troubleshoot PC, mobility, and/or network issues
- Experience setting up via Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 accounts for users
- Attaching PCs to a company’s Active Directory domain
- Email Spam Filtering (Block, whitelist, etc. – Barracuda)
- Experience patching PCs and Servers, via RMM, Group Policy and/or Manually
- Experience managing Open DNS Umbrella and DUO 2FA, or equivalent
- Printer troubleshooting (drivers)
- Personal ability to prioritize, maintain focus and finish tasks with efficiency
- Setting up network permission (permission for Network shares)
- Exceptional customer service skills with willingness to communicate responsively and with clarity to customers, coworkers and vendor/partners
- Valid Driver’s license+
Pluses:
- A+, Server+ and/or Network + Certifications
- Experience utilizing RMM for MSP, working with ConnectWise and Labtech (ConnectWise Automate), or equivalent
- Restarting Virtual Servers using VMware and Hyper-V
- Phone Systems (ShoreTel/Mitel), creating users, installing software
- QuickBooks: IT support would prove helpful
- Associates Degree preferred, but not required
